Tree Hugging Sister: That’s an interesting observation and one that I’ll wager is being repeated all over the country as the phonies in the “news” media and their Democrat allies attack an authentic American like Sarah Palin.

Women, men too, can identify with the Sarah Palin story. There is nothing contrived about her.

Attacking her is like attacking motherhood itself.

Ms. Palin is everything a feminist would want. Or, at least that’s why my male brain thinks.

For example, when you look at Ms. Clinton, I see blind ambition. Arrogance. Condescending attitude.

When I look at Ms. Palin, I see femininity, passion, ambition and reason. She cares for her family and tries to do the right thing.

I see her running for President in four years. Whether she is VP or not.

I’m doing some PAO volunteering at our local Veterans for John McCain office in Pensacola. The number of folks who walk in the door, sheepishly asking if we’d let Democrats donate and maybe have a lawn sign is simply astonishing! And I would lay money on “unprecedented”. HALF of them are women, who are so energized by Palin and disgusted by statements like “Her greatest hypocrisy is in her pretense that she is a woman” that they are galvanized into action.

I wore a t-shirt into the office yesterday (printed with a Palin bumper sticker I designed for the volunteers to sell) and was mobbed.

The excitement is palpable. And I hope it’s sustainable.

Having said that, just look around; see for yourself the excitement and the new energy the Honorable Governor of Alaska has brought home. Sarah Palin is “The Obama Effect” on STEROIDS! She alone beats the failing Obama with her pinkie. Pun intended.

People, men and women, from every corner of the United States are enthused about John McCain’s selection. It’s historic for Republicans and for some very queer reason it’s poison for a few of the Democrats.

Nevertheless, energy drinks are optional now with Sarah McCain’s honesty, her smile, and feminine drive. She is the joy and thrill conservatives have to keep Barack Obama at bay; awake and sleepless at night.

God Bless America! Let’s begin the SURGE AGAINST OBAMA.

While I am heartened to see the polls take a turn for McCain, the left has a huge smear campaign going against Ms. Palin.

I am also bothered by the long trends Mr. Obama has in his gains. We need to win this not by a hair, but by a big margin.

I grow tired of stale accusations of stolen elections. I want to see Mr. Obama crushed in November, but sadly, too many people want the government to provide for them. He is already trying to buy votes with his “$1500 energy rebate”, which is nothing more than stealing from the oil companies and handing the money to the people.

Still a long way to go. But I saw some polls for the House of Representatives showing 50% Republican, and 45% Dem. Now THAT would be an upset, and we could send Pelosi to the back benches where she belongs.
