Coal seam fires in China currently cause emissions equal to all the automotive traffic in the US. Coal seam fires in China, India, Indonesia and the US produce emissions equal to the automotive traffic of the entire world. So looked at another way … if we could put out those fires in those four countries, we could clear the air by as much as taking every single car off the road in the entire world. We don’t need stricter standards for cars, we just need to put those fires out. I would be willing to pay money to put them out before I would pay money in higher gas and more expensive cars while they continue to burn. I am talking about 1/3 of all global “human” produced CO2 emissions, not to mention sulfur dioxide, carbon monoxide, and other gasses.

I don’t know how old anyone here is, but I remember the smog alerts in nearly every major industrial city in the US in the ’60s and 70′s. Now you never see smog alerts in the news anymore. The air in major cities, to my understanding, is cleaner now than 30 years ago. If this is correct, then that is another bubble burst for the climate primates.

Now China has the same problems we did with smog and bad air and they are actually the worlds worst polluters, not the US as is claimed.

The idea that new taxes on fossil fuels will help solve the global warming problem is LAUGHABLE. It’s so transparently an effort to screw the taxpayers and enrich government while doing NOTHING that would address the issue of warming.

You might get a slight decrease in the growth of fossil fuel use in countries or states which adopt higher taxes but there is no valid scientific study which shows it would make the slightest difference to impact climate change.

Meanwhile, China, India, Brazil et. al. will continue business as usual as we put ourselves at yet another economic disadvantage.

And it’ll be the poor who will get priced and taxed out of meat, milk and fuel by those eco-fascists and their carbon taxes. Already in the UK, 70% of the fuel price is tax and every winter we have scores of pensioners freezing to death for want of warmth they cannot pay for.

Another thing that really gets my goat is that these airheads conveniently forget that this vegetarian diet lark is only workable if you have the time, the money and the know-how to transform expensive exotic vegetables and other assorted special ingredients into something palatable, and even then it’s easy to pick up disease and disability from malnutrition.

“We have lost our identaties?” These people have lost their minds. Although I will say there have been times in my life that I felt like screaming like these loons, it was not over some fruitless cause such as whatever this was. I have said it before. Climate change, global warming, and global cooling is the biggest con perpertrated on the largest group of people ever. If one theory fails they go on to another. But people like those in Scott’s video are truly mentally ill or else they are so high on drugs or both.

Being a show-me person I find it inexplicable that some people allow others to do their thinking for them and accept the most ridiculous ideas as gospel. Ideas that one ounce of common sense would tell anybody it was a lie.
