(1) – Shooting animals from planes, even though that’s illegal (Federal Law) for all but predators and the only exceptions are on a case by case basis with special permits from the State.
[note - that on the other hand they accuse her of partisanship in the firing of a State Trooper, one of whose crimes was shooting an animal illegally. But hey, one standard for the favored-"victim" and one for the hated conservative enemy.]

(2) – Building a coal-fired plant in her home town, even though…
a. It’s only a proposal by the local utility, not government, slated for completion in 2015 if approved by the members of the utility.
b. The local mayor has NO authority to do anything but enforce local guidelines on emmissions, etc., and can’t stop it if it complies.
c. Palin was no longer mayor when that proposal was advanced

thanks for enlightening all of us prehistoric, knuckle-dragging, rural simple-types! I wish I knew as much as you.. but my simple brain has a couple questions: Wasn’t that 20 million voted on by city council, approved, and then leveraged toward fixing roads and adding new ones in addition to the new rink? Isn’t the area encompassing Wasilla one of the fastest growing areas in the state? I may be completely stupid, but I just looked up the highway construction project that is taking place in my city. Apparently the cost is 19 million per lane per mile of highway (and that is below the curve nationally).. talk about wasteful spending.

I think you should help to enlighten my city as well. In fact, I think you should run for president with your vast amount of knowledge, as well as your ability to try and smear a Governor with a 4 out of 5 approval rating. It seems to me if she was all about the money she wouldn’t have sold her private jet (which is actually useful in the largest state in the union) and got rid of needless spending like her chef etc.??

It blows me away that people can say with all seriousness, that Obama is qualified. I suppose mark, that you support Obamas spending record along with his history of being fiscally responsible? Oh wait, he doesn’t have one. Sorry, I know I shouldn’t ask questions like that. I should only ask applicable questions of ‘the one’ that can in some way be answered. So who is Obies mentors? His friends? His beliefs? Oh yeah, his beginnings? At least it was a monumental occasion in the Obama family when his wife, for the first time, was proud to be an American. Or did that not happen either. I’m voting for Obama and then moving to south pole so the lefties can destroy each other.

Jonathan Martin over at Politico is pushing the meme that the teleprompter was not broken. He’s the only one saying that because MSNBC is the channel where they mentioned that the teleprompter was not working. MSNBC is the Obama network and they noticed the teleprompter was not functioning correctly as did many other networks so what the hell is he trying to pull?

Sarah Palin did an excellent jobs with or without the teleprompter. Obama would have been a stuttering fool even if the teleprompter had only been two or three lines ahead of him. We’ve seen him speak without a teleprompter…uh, uh, uh, uh.

Palin was a lousy mayor who took a town with $0 debt in 1996 and left it $22 million in the hole in 2002, mostly from the hockey rink/sports complex she shoved down their throats which never became the money generator she promised it would. Another white elephant from another white elephant. Even with the stable Clinton economy during most of her mayoral tenure and Jack Abramoff’s crony she hired to lobby Washington to help her now indicted buddy Ted Stevens ring up $27 million in federal pork for tiny Wasilla (pop. 5000 when she entered office) she still managed to leave the town swimming in debt.

She was so heavy handed the town’s folk forced her to hire an administrator to handle day to day operations or face a recall.

As governor she is borrowing from Alaska’s future while she wants to give away today’s Alaskan windfall oil tax bonanza and the huge surpluses they’ve generated in bread and circuses tax giveaways. Alaska gets 89% of it’s operating budget from taxing oil coming out of the ground just like Arab kingdoms and Hugo Chavez’s Venezuela. They have no state income or sales tax up there. Instead of using that windfall to pay for all the profligate spending her Republican legislature keep sending her she’s issuing bonds to pay for it all which Alaskans and US taxpayers will have to pay off in future years while she takes credit for tax “rebates” while she’s governor.

Her fiscal policy is a disaster in the making which won’t hit til she’s left the governor’s office. She’d be a disaster as Vice President especially to a President who despite his grevious wounds and type A personality is already past the age his father and grandfather died of sudden heart attacks.

She can put on all the lipstick she wants but her political record is for the dogs.

P.S. The teleprompter broke story is a lie. Don’t you ever get tired of being lied to?
