Barack Obama Unable to LEAD His Followers To Decency

Vice President candidate, Sarah Palin, has a 17yr old daughter who is pregnant.  Honorless partisan hacks from the left end of the political spectrum (ie the new base of the New Democratic Party) have created several conspiracy theories and flooded the internet (subsequently cable news as well) with the most unsavory public accusations and comments.

It’s disgusting.  It should not only stop, but never should have started.  How such ‘open-minded’/”liberal” people could say such things and do such things to a young woman in a time of immeasurable stress is just beyond me.   It’s beyond Democratic Presidential nominee Barack Obama as well.

“I have said it before, and I will repeat again,” he said, “People’s families are off-limits. And people’s children are especially off-limits. This shouldn’t be part of our politics. It has no relevance to Gov. Palin’s performance as a governor or her potential performance as a vice president. So I would strongly urge people to back off these kinds of stories. You know, my mother had me when she was 18 and how a family deals with issues and teenage children, that shouldn’t be a topic of our politics.”

Yet, it continues. Go to any “liberal” or “progressive” website that has a forum, and you’ll see near chaos, a shade shy of absolute hatred, and the dumbest things every posted. Senator Obama is powerless to control or influence his followers (is he really their leader then?).

What makes this far more amazing is that Senator Obama’s truest claim to fame is his alleged ability to bring people together; to show us all that we are not red states and blue states, we are not Republicans and Democrats, but we are all Americans. This message rings soundly with a demographic that’s been deliberately mislead so many times, and has politically backed terrorist killers. It’s been said that one man’s terrorist is another man’s freedom fighter, and the left buys that completely, but the person who said it….was a terrorist-not a freedom fighter.

This is the test of Barack Obama’s lifetime. It’s not whether or not he can be President. He’s tied in the polls, so the possibility is is clearly there. However, the question of him actually being able to lead people (to be a leader) remains to be seen. He’s never had to lead. Now he does, and those who are his strongest supporters….are not following his instructions on even a simple, logical, common sense, clearly honorable request: leave Britol alone.

If they can’t do that, then how can he lead them to war in Iraq for another 16+months min, or Iran, or Pakistan, or Afghanistan, or elsewhere?

Bristol, if you need to see a silver lining in all this, know 2 things:
1) there are literally tens of millions-perhaps hundreds of millions of people who are proud of you and support you and wish you the very best (this includes Senator Barack Obama).
2) the reaction that so many hate-filled, closed-minded, faux-liberals are showing has shown that Senator Obama can give a good speech, and people will clap to it, maybe even stand, but that’s all they’ll do. They won’t follow the man’s instructions let alone follow him to war or other serious challenges.

Good luck to you Bristol! God Bless, and remember there are more good people out there praying for you than there are frightened people lashing out at you.

While we’re comparing earmark cash… This is the paragraph you didn’t cut and paste.

The McCain campaign said Tuesday that Palin realized that Alaska was too reliant on earmarks and ordered state officials to cut back on their requests. It also said Obama requested nearly $1 billion in earmarks over three years for Illinois — a state with nearly 20 times the population of Alaska.

Sounds dastardly, doesn’t it? Well, I for one, would want to know when Obama had time in his campaigning rock tour to request earmarks for his IL constituents in the last year and a half. But I’ll give him the benefit of the doubt. Let’s say that $1 bil is $33 mil each year, okay?

IL has a population of 12,419,293 (using the same 2000 stats I used above…). That makes Obama’s earmarks at $266 per person, and Palin’s at $298.

But IL roads and other projects eligible for federal funds are not nearly as maintenance intensive as the Alaskan roads due to the location, topography and weather.

So you’re really not talking about much difference between the two… meaning if you believe Obama is fiscally responsible as the Congressional grantor, then Palin is fiscally responsible as the grantee.

Except that Palin’s request for funds has been declining on the record. Can you say the same for Obama’s?

Oh wait… he hasn’t even been in the Capitol Bldg enough days in his term to establish that record. In fact, since taking his Senate seat, he’s spent two out of his three years campaigning. DOH!

Never mind. Maybe he had a very expensive FIRST year. Uh, that would be over $800 per person. Now where have I heard that figure before?

What it is, is prima facie evidence that dougy is a clueless moonbat.

Alaska governor to request FEWER earmarks.
    . . . . .
Rehfeld said she believes the state government annually made more than 100 earmark requests of the congressional delegation in previous years. She said the request for this year, the first under Palin, was for more than 50 earmarks.” (article from Dec, 2007)

She cut the request for appropriations in half. She IS a reformer. But dougy doesn’t understand what Mata explained quite clearly, that eliminating spending isn’t possible, but eliminating wasteful spending is. And THAT is what Palin is committed to, and what she is doing, successfully.

    Dougy’s Mom – Quick call 911!
Dougy’s Sister – What happened Mom
Dougy’s Mom – Dougy hurt himself on a big word.
    Dougy’s Sister – AGAIN!?
Dougy’s Mom – Yes. I just hope he doesn’t need surgery this time.

Alaska Senator Stevens, one of the appropriations committee chair persons, sure doesn’t make Palin look bad when he says…

“It is a difficult thing to get over right now, the feeling that we don’t represent Alaska because Alaska doesn’t want earmarks,”… http://www.adn.com/front/story/343660.html</em

Cat is out of the bag, and it’s time for dougy to clean the litter box!

THE DEMOCRATS AND THE LEFTIST MEDIA MISINFORM THE PUBLIC ON PURPOSE …
The so called political experts, like CNN’s Bill Schneider … or CNN’s ultra biased Jack Cafferty, say that if a Republican is elected it will divide America. They try to imply that Obama is the candidate who would bring America together … but, Obama is the most divisive candidate I have ever seen. He even split his own democratic party in half. And, although the democrats try to act as if he has some kind of American mandate, the split between Obama and McCain fluctuates at around 50/50. Keep America strong, and genuine … elect McCain/Palin in November. No Wright, no Farrakahn, no Ayers, no Rezko, no mean Michelle, NOBAMA
