They were thankful that the Bush/McCain reaction to Katrina would be brought up all over again and that everyone would be reminded of the ineptness of the GOP to govern while Americans drown. They were thankful that the country would be constantly reminded of how McCain celebrated his birthday at a fundraiser while thousands of Americans were forced from their homes with no help from the Republican run Federal Government.
