Editing out the fact that this man also threated a sitting President from story is definitely something to be concerned about. Most MSM journalists are liberal, and they are twisting the news to get “their” candidate elected. Look at how long they protect John Edwards. The fact that some of us noticed that the MSM edited the news to support Saddam, to support John Edwards and to prop up Obama is the real story.

As far a your broad brush portrayal of the commenter’s on this blog goes, check out the Huffington Post or Daily KOS. If what you read here gives you the vapors, you will be aghast at what you read at the left wing sites. The Huffington Post has to close comments whenever a conservative is diagnosed with a serious illness because of the hatred that is expressed by the writers who comment there. Out of 11 comments here only two said anything negative about the Democrat. Your broad brush covers with very thin paint. Stick to the facts, debate the issue.

The Secret Service investigates hundreds of threats against the president every year and usually prosecutes several. It ain’t news cause it ain’t new. The extensive threats against a presumptive nominee and the casual reaction of people in such forums as this is news. Why? Cause it is new.

Perhaps it was just sloppy, lazy, amateur reporting.
However, eliminating the President from the story creates the impression that the accused assassin is from the right wing. This could be a more sophisticated version of “Name that Party”.

NPR is reporting the Bush threat almost as an afterthought, no, definitely as an afterthought, after the piece focusing on Obama, which is clearly what they perceive is the main story.
