Some time before, I needed to buy a building for my business but I didn't earn enough money and couldn't purchase something. Thank goodness my mate proposed to get the <a href="http://bestfinance-blog.com/topics/business-loans" rel="nofollow">business loans</a> from trustworthy creditors. Hence, I acted so and was happy with my secured loan.

If you go back and look at President Bush's record on energy:

http://www.whitehouse.gov/infocus/energy/archive.html

You'll notice he's been working on this problem from the early days of his Administration on.

And conservation has always been a part of his plan. He took early action with Executive Orders to expedite energy projects and to require federal agencies to conserve.

There has also been a dramatic increase in the funding for alternative energy sources and new technology which the President has personally highlighted.

The major stumbling block in all this remains Democrats in Congress who insist that the ONLY way forward is a plan bought and paid for by the massive environmental lobbby that would constrict growth of the American economy and force drastic changes in the lifestyles of most Americans.

We'll need economic growth if we are ever to develop, implement and transition to an oil free future. And it would be best if we kept the hundreds of billions currently going overseas to pay for oil right here to reinvest in the future.

The price of oil will dictate the plan. That's why alternative energy plans only gain attention when oil prices are high. Of course alternative energy makes oil cheaper as the demand for oil decreases. Offshore drilling is expensive, especially when there is little oil pumped per day. If oil is expensive enough it will be worth it. There was off shore oil rings where I live, but the oil price dropped and they were abandoned. That means there has to be a guaranteed profit even when energy prices drop. That of course is socialism, but it will make the transission easier that only working on alternative energy when oil prices are high. It takes 5-7 years to build a nuclear plant and of course all the legal planning and research is not included. Permits, much more than the 37 in the last 30 years (yet no plants were built) have to be sent in now, yet nobody knows the cost of oil in 5-7 years. That's just one example of alternative energy. According to Wikipedia, in 1960 it was expected there would be 1,000 nuclear plants operating in 2000. Obviously that didn't happen with about 30 of those years having low oil prices.

It will be impossible to overcome all those hurdles with Senator Burr readily admits exists if his colleagues on the other side of the aisle continue to insist on their "my way or the <s>highway</s> bikepath" plan to only pursue oil speculators.

There was a time today when it looked like the Dems in the Senate might crack and allow votes on other issues but they didn't and still refuse to permit debate or up or down votes on ANY plan but there's.

What's really amusing is that the Dems all rushed to the microphones today to denounce the GOP Senators for refusing to go along with their harebrained scheme.

We could debate and vote on ALL these matters but Dems will NOT permit it.

They are the ones who artifically are keeping the price of America's energy high.

Not big oil. Not speculators. D E M O C R A T S!!!
