Sure, the Washington Post and a couple of editorial boards will zing him on it as they did with his broken pledge to be bound to public financing limits for his campaign but how many voters read, are aware of, or even care what the Wash Post editorial board has to say? It would take some heavy spending ad campaign to even make a dent in the public's perception on this issue and with Obasma's ability to spend unlimited funds he can counter it. As the Post suggests, this entire campaign is likely to become a mish mash of ads, slogans and smears with little or no chance for the kind of indepth discussion on the issues that would favor McCain. A nasty campaign is exactly what Obasma wants. Not that I would shy away from tossing the mud back in his face. :)
