If the Past is Any Reflection on Current Character…

…and if pictures can speak a thousand words…..

Here’s a contrast in character:

McCain in Hanoi; Hillary Rodham delivering the 1969 student commencement address at Wellesley College. (John McCain 2008; Wellesley College Archives).

Smackdown line: “‘Hillary tried to get a million dollars for the Woodstock museum. I understand it was a major cultural and pharmaceutical event. I couldn’t attend. I was tied up at the time.” -GOP Debate in Florida, 10/21/07

But since Hillary’s out, let’s bring in the photo contrast between “young” Obama and “young” McCain. Drum roll, please……

Hat tip: geeeeeZ!

I don’t know about the younger years. Mccain was a stud when he was young but you have to think about how many years ago that was. I’m the first one to support our military and all of the people in it but you simply CAN”T judge people on religion. Just because Obama is Muslim doesn’t mean that he has anything to do with terrorism. I am Catholic and I don’t have anything to do with sex scandals.

The real thing I’m worried about is that he might be the anti-christ. Seriously, there are a lot of things written in the bible about what the anti-christ will be like and Obama fits most of them and with his recent bending of bible scripture he has added another thing to that list.

Read more about Obama being the anti-christ at my blog- http://www.ozunating.blogspot.com

Dude….I think you read far more into the photo juxtapositioning than was warranted.

It’s all done in political partisanship humor. I can find good photos and bad photos of all 3 of them, and paint whatever impression I wish to make of them.

And if our side starts pushing the anti-Christ notions, you can bet it will be a sure-fire way of losing the election and enabling an Obama presidency to happen.

What is this photo suppose to mean? That Obama is a moslem and is not a worthy canditate because he doesn’t look “American”. What is an American?I know what its not and it’s not what faith you have but what you do that is best for your country. And it sure looks like Mcain isn’t prepared to give all Americans free healthcare. Sure Obama’s plan raises taxes, but to the wealthy. It’s everyones patriotic duty including the rich to care for the Americans who can’t afford to do so.

And by the way Obama isn’t moslem, he was raised by his white christian mother, but honestly it really shouldn’t make a difference.

The more proper question is, “what does this post mean?”

That Obama is a moslem and is not a worthy canditate because he doesn’t look “American”.

No. That Obama and Hillary’s life experience doesn’t compare to what McCain has done in service to his country. I’m sorry, but they simply haven’t.

What is an American?I know what its not and it’s not what faith you have but what you do that is best for your country.

McCain went to war on behalf of his country. He suffered torture on behalf of his country. Hillary? Woodstock. College life. Obama? Campaign organizer. College life.

And it sure looks like Mcain isn’t prepared to give all Americans free healthcare.

How is “free healthcare” “American”? How exactly does that work?

Sure Obama’s plan raises taxes, but to the wealthy.

The wealthy already carry the vast majority of the tax burden:

the richest 1% of tax filers will have paid more than 40% of the income tax burden. The top 50% will account for 97% of all federal income taxes, while the bottom 50% will have paid just 3%.”

Tax revenues have gone up under the current president.

It’s everyones patriotic duty including the rich to care for the Americans who can’t afford to do so.

That’s what charitable giving is for. What you’re advocating is wealth distribution and social welfare; that’s not patriotic.

And by the way Obama isn’t moslem, he was raised by his white christian mother, but honestly it really shouldn’t make a difference.

No, it shouldn’t; yet you “went there”, anyway.

Obama is Christian. Yet if you think that’s all there is to his story, then you haven’t really investigated his full background. Why do you think others have drawn connections and questions into his Muslim background?
