MSM Plants The Racism Seed

And so the meme goes. The LA Times writes an article on West Virginia voters and they spin the ongoing tale that if Obama loses in November its because we’re all a bunch of a racists:

Nearly 97% white, the county is as conflicted as any rural and working-class Democratic bastion as it struggles to adjust to the likely prospect of the party nominating its first African American presidential candidate.

~~~
It remains unclear how racial unease will factor into election-day decisions come November. Those hidden impulses are elusively difficult to capture in polling. But seasoned Democratic players here reckon that some racially tinged voting will inevitably occur far beyond Hardy County’s cresting hills.
“There’s a lot of bigotry in the country, not just West Virginia,” See said.
Question, if 91% of blacks voted for the black candidate….is that racism? Or are you telling me they nearly every black person across the land believes he is the better candidate based on his accomplishments?
Puhlease.
    Whilst the die hard Hillary supporters out there are still vowing to fight to the end; it looks more and more like she’s failed to knock BHO out of the running at the primary level. McCain better be warmed up, because it looks like the MSM is coming out swinging.
    Yes, it was expected that we’d get the old meme of “voting against black BHO, and for white McCain makes you a racist,” but that doesn’t make any less depressing that our media has become such a simple minded lap-dog of the DNC. As Curt points out, if anyone is voting down racial lines here, it’s the black population; and I don’t hear anybody out there railing at them for their supposed “racism” for doing so.
    There are a great many reasons not to vote for BHO, and none of them have to do with the color of his skin, and everything to do with the “content of his character” per se. So, if voting for John McCain this November makes me a racist in some radical’s eyes, then I’ll take the label with a knowing smile on my face. I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again, the label “racist” today is the same as the label “witch” was back in the dark days of the Salem, MA colony. It’s thrown around with little regard for facts, and once its been stuck on you, it’s practically impossible to remove.
    Typical for the MSM but an argument that is easy to dispute.Did Kerry and Gore lose because they were black too? Thats all that needs to be said.To go any further is to give a podium to divisive morons.
