every 15 or 20 years they come up with a new enviromental concern. it gets to be a bit much. i live in a liberal state and it is funny to watch and hear all of these people freaking out about global warming. we all know its crap and that the temp of the earth stopped going up in 1998. who can support earthday when it is based on flawed science and a bunch of wierdo’s. my son brought home this huge thing on earthday and global warming from school today, i was irritated.

When the number one “voter issue” is the US economy and the number two issue is the war in Iraq, does it really surprise any of us that only 1/3 of our people “worry a great deal” about global warming? There are more people who “worry a great deal” about gas prices and the cost of health insurance, I’m sure, but that doesn’t make it an insignificant issue.
You gotta love when a blizzard interrupts when a statement about global warming wants to be made.
But, of course, the “unusual” blizzard is caused by global warming. Blizzards just don’t happen in March, April, and May. Sure, what ever you say.
Nature-Worship is the oldest religion on the planet, not the best or the most sophisticated – so corny slight-of-hand and bombastic preachiness is about as good as it gets.
Because it’s a religious movement and way past Science, the whole computer fakery really does belong in the Eco-Canon of Doctrine, perhaps footnoted as “Fake but Accurate” – because it accurately portrays the need for fakery in order for the whole “Holistic” Belief System to function.

Global warming- don’t believe your own senses, believe Bush/Cheney and Exxon/Chevron. When it comes to (mostly self-induced) ‘terror’ many Americans accept the 1% Doctrine- if there’s a one percent chance that a threat is credible, treat it as such. When it comes to global warming Americans will still believe Bush/Exxon while up to their necks in water. Oops, let’s dive into the SUV and drive to McDonald’s and stuff another Big Mac in our fat faces. Want that supersized? Are you crazy? Double Supersized! Dumb or what?
