The women of the Chester County Victory Movement standing proudly with their flags while displaying signs of love & support for our troops.

A soldier on his way to Iraq decides to spend his last day in the States with our merry band. This action speaks volumes on how our soldiers really feel about the ‘support’ shown by the Chester County Peace Movement and their ilk.

Our ‘Support The Troops’ coin tradition carries on – Dee passes the coin to Bob in recognition of his creative talents in expressing his patriotism.

Attending our rally for the first time was Mary Lou’s (Military Mom) husband, Harry. Welcome! We hope to see you at future rallies. Also, a CPAC attendee, Louanne, took time to stand with us in West Chester. Thank You! Your support means the world to us!!

At the conclusion of our rally, there is a moment which reveals what real PEACE looks like. Our merry band of patriots come from a variety of religious backgrounds. Every Saturday on a corner in West Chester a group of Christians, Atheists, Jews, and Catholics pause to reflect on the God of their understanding without fear of censorship or repression. On the corner filled with peacniks, members of the Covenant Fellowship Church who were simply attempting to pray were told by the peaceful folk – ‘not here you’re not’.

Thank you for all you do for our troops Skye. Our soldier on his way to Iraq isn’t the only one that appreciates what you are doing.
I want to thank you also, Skye.
Imagine, these are the types of people that Obama considers gun-toting, Bible-thumping, backwoods, xenophobic, racist rednecks.
I never really thought about it – but you’re right about our prayer at the end – we are all different people of different faiths.
And just so people know, we actually say a prayer – outloud – (no PC ‘moment of silence’). And it starts with, “Heavenly Father” and asks the Lord to protect our troops and their families and we thank Him for our blessings. And we pray for our troops to be successful as they strive to achieve their missions.
Many folks who come to our rallies tell me that the prayer at the end is their favorite part.
Another thing – many of the protestors that follow Karen Porter (the leader of the “peace” protestors) believe that Christianity is a bigger threat to them than radical Islam. In Porter’s newsletter it’s been stated, “Facism will come with the FLAG and a CROSS”.
I happen to be very proud of my Christian faith (I’m Catholic). I pray everyday and ask for God’s wisdom and guidance. I never claim to be perfect, I’m human and make mistakes, but I have no hidden agenda and can sleep well at night.
I love my country and respect my flag. Does that make me a facist?
I am proud to show open support for my troops especially when the other side is sending a message that hurts our troops and helps our enemies.
They aren’t protesting against something like low wages or benefits or something like unfair practices by a local business.
They don’t protest against the radical Islamic terrorists and asassins who bomb Israel and pour into Iraq from all over the Middle East to commit violence and terror against the innocent Iraqis and kill our troops…
No they didn’t protest the radical Islamists who attacked the USS Cole when it was refueling in Yemen.
They only protest to demoralize our troops – the VFP wants our troops to disobey orders, mutiny, and they will give them aid and advice.
They protest to undermine our troops and their mission because they hate George Bush and blame America for the attacks on us.
They don’t care that what they are doing is hurting our troops.
They never look happy – and they have an agenda – everything must be 100% liberal for them. That is facism.
They are not happy with a 100% liberal burrough council here in West Chester, PA (7-0 all democrats), or a liberal college in town, or the big city 20 miles away is run by liberals, (nothing but Democrats running Philadelphia for the last 50 years). They got a democrat majority House and Senate in the USA. The State Senate of PA is now a democrat majority. They got the newest high school in town named after their liberal Bayard Rustin, and yet STILL – they are not happy – they want 100% liberal thought and deed.
The “peace protestors” can’t stand that we do not think like them or how they want us to think – Now, that’s facism.
Thanks for your great work Skye and thanks to all the patriots who show up every Saturday to show support for our brave troops and their noble mission
How many were at the rally ?
More to the point, john ryan, how many were allowed to pray to the God of their understanding, at this rally.
