“Invasion of Iraq”?
Didn’t we go with the UN and a coalition of other nations to save Kuwait in 1991? And did’t the UN and the Coalition abandon us there to deal with the recalcitrant Saddam? Weren’t we being shot at almost everyday of the Clinton administration as we maintained the UN mandated No-Fly zone? As we occupied Iraq through Clinton’s entire term we took a short break in December of 1998 when Clinton Carpet bombed Baghdad.
After a dozen years of failed negotiations trying to get Saddam to fufill his obligations under his surrender terms a US president drew a line in the sand: he began the long process of withdrawal which included the removal of Saddam. At that time we had been in Iraq for what? 14 years?

Some “Invasion”. Clinton did nothing to get us out of Iraq where the UN had abandoned us. Now liberals, in their unceasing attempts to rewrite history, want to claim “Bush invaded Iraq in 2003″.
Liberals will believe anything so they think people will believe them when they tell these impossible lies.

Another example of someone who knows nothing about this topic. There was a huge amount of planning that went into it, only a very lazy thinker would believe that the military just kind of went with the flow and pushed in….no plans, no tactics, nothing. McCain and the GOP can try to spin all they want. McCain is reckless and incompetent – his poor judgment in pushing for the invasion of Iraq in the 1st place proves that he is UTTERLY UNFIT to lead our country . I plan my vacations better than Bush and McCain planned a war and because of their recklessness, over a million people have died on both sides. At the end of the day, Bush and McCain have made America much LESS safe. If someone in Iraq had caused our country the devastation Bush/McCain have, we would put them at the very top of the Terrorist Threat list.

Liberal or not, she recognizes that the future is about succeeding in Iraq. That’s the best way to bring peace-not leaving, allowing AQ to regroup, allowing Iran, Syria, Turkey, and Saudi to come in and start a regional war, and not allowing a genocide to start THEN making airstrikes or some sort of “show of force” that shows a lack of resolve and will rather than vice versa. No. The UN wants peace (see also UN1483 sec 1-4), and it can only be done by working against the terrorists. Those who march against the soldiers’ and Marines’ efforts to protect people from terrorists are not helping.
