Semper Fi, Marines:
I met Chesty XIII where I work today and consider it a huge honor to have done so.
I am glad to have been associated with Marines during my hitch in the Air Force. There are no finer individuals in the world! I was grateful when Marines came on board at the Garland Fire Academy on Goodfellow AFB back in the 1990′s and marveled at there discipline. If I ever had issues with any of the Marine Privates, I would tell them, “I’ll get the Gunny, and He’ll straighten you out.” Luckily, I never had to, since the Privates were always squared away. It’s time to honor the Corps for this year and I do so with a hearty “Hail!”
