Your Puritanical approach to anyone who has the audacity to be on the opposing side of your limited political viewpoint is peevish. One would presume from your outbursts that you imbibe nothing stronger than the foam from a fresh Diet Coke and therefore know nothing of the absurdities spouted at times of inebriation from those of us who taste the bubbly a bit too much from time to time. Acts of emotional outbursts or bungling debates (listen to Larry Craig arrest tape) merely reflect that even those elected to governmental office are not exempt from the frailties existing in all of us. These are not bad people, they are just like the rest of us, oops, except you, sorry Curt. They have flaws, weaknesses that seem a part of the human experience; at least for most of us. I have to admit, since I view hypocracy as a most heinous character flaw, that I relished the initial exposure of Larry Craig. In the ensuing brouhaha however, I felt sympathy for the man. Though he and I are miles apart on our political views, he would appear to have been a solid Senator, especially from the right's point of view, for many years. For his friends and fellow party members to have thrown him overboard without even a hint of compassion merely points out the inanity and mini-mindedness of the fruitcake conservative movement. Admit the venue he seems to have chosen for his activities was somewhat mindless but again urges can have a debilitating effect on judgement. Now, criminal activity is a different story. Those activities are entered into with eyes wide open and there are no inhibiting substances qualifying their actions. In that regard it seems you only have Rep. Jefferson to hang out there in recent times. This poor man persecuted for only finding a new way to keep "savings on ice". All in all am happy for you. Recent exposures seemed heavily weighted against your ilk. The pendulum has a tendency to center itself.
