Forget that thousands of Jihadi/Muj were encountered in Iraq during the invasion

Forget that when Saddam was captured, he had a list of foreign jihadis that he was working with

Forget that Saddam’s regime remnants operate out of Syria where 80+ Jihadis fly out of every month, and into Iraq where they blow themselves up in crowded civilian markets all in the name of the religion of peace.

Forget that captured intel docs from Saddam’s regime detail how he wanted to fight an insurgent war using foreign Jihadi/Muj.

OOPS, sorry, that last one was Al Queda’s strategic planner/#2 man Zawahiri talking about how Al Queda would retaliate against the US for the US attack on Iraq [12/98]. Within 100hrs (according to the 911 Commission and other investigations), the 911 plot was authorized by Bin Laden. No other retaliatory attacks were set in motion.
