This operation shows how good our guys are in dealing with the enemy. The enemy is being squeezed. So much for the supposed failure and lack of progress. Also, Gen. Mattis' remarks speaks to the point about the stakes involved in Iraq, Afghanistan, and elsewhere, which so few in our political system and process clearly understand. My only concern is the lack of patience to see this through.
