From the minutes of the meeting which formed al-Qaeda. Sure, one of their goals is to stop us from supporting Israel but if you had read the whole post, as you most definitely did not do, you would have read that I said lefties keep alluding to the fact that bin Laden hates us because we have foreign troops on sacred land.

If we didn’t, they would hate us. If we didn’t support Israel, they would hate us. The goal is ensure that every single human being either converts to Islam or meets his maker.

Why did these men turn against America, a highly religious country that so recently had been their ally in Afghanistan? In large part, it was because they saw America as the locus of Christian power.

You state that bin Laden hates the US for reasons other than support for Israel and occupation of Arabia. Then you quote a book that says “Bin Laden cited American support for Israel as the first cause of his declaration of war, followed by the presence of American troops in Arabia.”

Yeah, I’ve been thinking about creating more categories and subcategories blogwide due to the huge amount of posts in them, and with MT you can’t really make pages unless you make the blog dynamic. Don’t want that because if I ever get a Digglaunch like last month the whole site goes down if the blog uses up resources for every pageload….

Can you create a category for your Lawrence Wright posts? Maybe under “U.S. foreign policy” or something more specifically related to “why they hate us” and Ron Paul’s statements about U.S. foreign policy. I’m working on an “educating Ron Paul” post of my own and want to reference your posts.
