The local schools had a whopping 100 kids walk out. They were mostly looking to get outta of school and do something exciting it seemed. Haven't been able to see the news on the downtown area but I heard it wasn't too large, or nowhere near what it was last year. I agree, take pride in where you came from but realize you live here for a reason. Because where you came from frankly sucked ass. So take pride in your heritage but take pride in your new home also by assimilating. Learn to speak our language, fly the American flag along with the Mexican flag. Take pride in America. But when I see these homes with a Mexican flag flying outside of it, with no American flag in site I just have to shake my head. And get angry.
