Great commentary. “Find the weapon disturbing??” Then get em a NRA membership, get them familiar with weapons that ensure security, safety and and freedom and maybe they won’t find a rifle “disturbing.”
Re the 15 Brits, I was not in their shoes but I like to think no American Marine or any or our warriors would have made those videos without major bruises and contusions plainly visible about the head and shoulders…and probably not then either. Even Democrats used to understand this. FDR said “We would rather die on our feet than live on our knees.”

Mr. Beharry is too much of a hero, but the Iranian 15 are just hero enough to parade in front of the UK cameras. Our media is not much better. Next, I suppose, the lucrative media deals for the Iranian 15 will enable them to leave the service before their enlistment is completed. Justification? Well the UK is cutting their force strength anyway. I guess we had better strengthen our alliance with India. The historical West is disintegrating faster than I thought possible; it may fail in my lifetime. Something I never expected to be able to witness. So sad.

It’s absolutely infuriating! Because soldiers engage in violence, they are not looked to as role models. These kinds of sheep have no clue…they give moral equivalence to both sides that are violence workers: Those who use violence against innocents, and those who use violence to stop criminals and “evil-doers”. One seeks to destroy civilization; the other, to preserve it.
