US Veto’s UN Terrorist Resolution

I’m gonna miss this guy:

The United States vetoed a U.N. Security Council draft resolution Saturday that sought to condemn an Israeli military offensive in the Gaza Strip and demand Israeli troops pull out of the territory.

U.S. Ambassador John Bolton said the Arab-backed draft resolution was “biased against Israel and politically motivated.”

“This resolution does not display an evenhanded characterization of the recent events in Gaza, nor does it advance the cause of Israeli-Palestinian peace to which we aspire and for which we are working assiduously,” he told the Security Council.

The veto unleashed a flurry of criticism in the Middle East.

A flurry of criticism from the Middle East and from our own pet liberals:

U.S. Vetoes Justice Again

ACTION ALERT: PUT A HALT TO THE ISRAELI MASSACRES IN THE PALESTINIAN TERRITORIES

Appeal To Israel: Stop the Massacres

Can we even tell the difference anymore between the liberals and fanatic Islamists?

Meanwhile Sudan, yes the Sudan, criticized the US for human rights violations:

The United States sharply criticized the new U.N. Human Rights Council yesterday, calling it a “disappointment” and saying it had failed to address serious violations in its first few months of operation – particularly in Sudan’s Darfur region.

Sudan responded with a condemnation of the U.S. human-rights record and said Washington had no right to judge the effectiveness of the U.N. agency.

I mean what right do we have in demanding they stop spending all of their time on Israel and actually deal with the genocide going on in their own country….the gall we have.
