		<description>They both make good points actually. I mostly side with Medved&#039;s argument but Hugh has a point that at some point you have to come to the realization that Chafee is not a Republican. I have always argued to anyone who would listen that there will never be the perfect politician. I disagree with Bush and every Republican out there about something, it maybe immigration with one guy and abortion with another, but this does not mean I would vote for the Democrat with whom I disagree with completely.

But Hugh does have a good point about seniority, which Chafee is accumulating. That could be a dangerous side effect of helping him beat the Democrat.....

		<description>From Tom Tancredo:

&lt;a href=&quot;http://www.humanevents.com/article.php?id=17047&quot; rel=&quot;nofollow&quot;&gt;http://www.humanevents.com/article.php?id=17047&lt;/a&gt;

&quot;Despite the efforts and the deep pockets of the party establishment in support of Kolbe&#039;s
candidate, Randy Graf won. The bad news is, the national party leaders who opposed him in the primary may abandon him and the district to the Democrats. A Graf win in November would mean they were wrong, and that would be just too embarrassing.

Randy Graf is an experienced legislator with impeccable Republican credentials. He was
Republican majority whip in the Arizona House of Representatives and highly respected by his colleagues. He has the endorsement of 26 members of the state legislature, taxpayers groups, the local Border Patrol union, law enforcement associations, the Minutemen and pro-life organizations. The Democrat opponent has the support of the public employee unions, the liberal news media and probably 80% of the University of Arizona faculty.

The 8th District has a slight Republican edge in voter registration and more than 100,000 independent voters.&quot;

Where does Hugh stand on Randy Graf? Is Randy too conservative for Hugh? Is Tom Tancredo too conservative for Hugh?
