“Never forget 9/11!”…..fuck that!

I’m sorry but all 9/11 has brought us and the world is war and death. When people tell me “never forget” the term becomes loaded with the connotation of “fighting them over there, so we don’t have to fight them over here.”

I want to forget that that gruesome attack ever happened, and that nearly 3,000 of my fellow countrymen (and visitors to America) weren’t murdered by Al Qaida. On 9/11/06, I will not watch any cable networks that day, because it will just be one big grief-orgy, with Bush running around to exploit it.

So not only does he want to forget 9/11 ever happened, he thinks Al-Qaeda didn’t do the attack in the first place. Every family member of every victim in those towers needs to see this kind of stuff. This is the face of the new improved Democratic party.

This one is a bit of a revisionist huh?

Yeah, let me see….Bush being in office for 9 months or the previous 8 years of Clinton….hmmm.

Clinton cut and ran from Somalia, the 93 WTC bombing, the Cole, the Kenyan bombings, all occured under Clintons watch. When given the chance to get his hands on Osama he turned it down. When given the chance to bomb Osama, he turned it down. Clinton taught Osama that we were a paper tiger (at least under Clintons watch) and his policies allowed the Gorelick wall to come into play.

I don’t know about you but I would tend to disagree with the poster.

It’s a sick world we live in where the conspiracy nuts have actually forced the Government to answer them, because so many people are actually starting to believe the ignorant conspiracies:

Faced with an angry minority of people who believe the Sept. 11 attacks were part of a shadowy and sprawling plot run by Americans, separate reports were published this week by the State Department and a federal science agency insisting that the catastrophes were caused by hijackers who used commercial airliners as weapons.

Nevertheless, federal officials say they moved to affirm the conventional history of the day because of the persistence of what they call “alternative theories.” On Wednesday, the National Institute of Standards and Technology issued a seven-page study based on its earlier 10,000-page report on how and why the trade center collapsed. The full report, released a year ago, and the new study, in a question and answer format, are available online at http://wtc.nist.gov.

About a dozen researchers produced the new study over the last two months by assembling material from the longer report that addressed the conspiracy claims.

A nationwide poll taken earlier this summer by the Scripps Survey Research Center at Ohio University found that more than a third of those surveyed said the federal government either took part in the attacks or allowed them to happen. And 16 percent said the destruction of the trade center was aided by explosives hidden in the buildings. The survey questioned 1,010 adults by telephone and had a margin of sampling error of plus or minus four percentage points. Details are available at http://newspolls.org.

The demolition theory has managed to endure what would seem to be enormous obstacles to its practicality. Controlled demolition is done from the bottom of buildings, not the top, to take advantage of gravity, and there is little dispute that the collapse of the two towers began high in the towers, in the areas where the airplanes struck.

Moreover, a demolition project would have required the tower walls to be opened on dozens of floors, followed by the insertion of thousands of pounds of explosives, fuses and ignition mechanisms, all sneaked past the security stations, inside hundreds of feet of walls on all four faces of both buildings. Then the walls presumably would have been closed up.

All this would have had to take place without attracting the notice of any of the thousands of tenants and workers in either building; no witness has ever reported such activity. Then on the morning of Sept. 11, the demolition explosives would have had to withstand the impacts of the airplanes, since the collapse did not begin for 57 minutes in one tower, and 102 minutes in the other.

Those who believe in the demolition theory remain unpersuaded by government statements new or old, and the officials who issued the would-be rejoinders say they are not surprised. “We realize that this fact sheet won’t convince those who hold to the alternative theories that our findings are sound,” Mr. Newman said. “In fact, the fact sheet was never intended for them. It is for the masses who have seen or heard the alternative theory claims and want balance.”

All this time and money wasted on debunking the most ignorant theories known to man. How in the world could someone be so freakin crazy to believe that thousands of pounds of explosives was placed in the tower, and no one noticed?

This is another form of the liberal mindset. It’s better to believe that the Government did it, that Bush did it, that way their hatred is justified. The war is unjustified.

Their world would make sense then.

What a sad world that is.

If converting to Islam is all it takes to get the terrorists off our backs, then all I have to say is, if you can’t beat ’em, join ’em. This week, when two Fox News journalists were released by their kidnappers in Gaza, I was shocked. Fox News has journalists? No, the shocking part of it was that all these two Westerners had to do to get the blade literally off their necks was say they were now Muslims.

…I know what you’re thinking: “Bill, if we convert to Islam, doesn’t that mean the terrorists have won?” Well, sort of, but it’s a win-win, because they get to declare victory and we get to take hair gel on the plane!

…And the best part: Nothing would really have to change … I mean, look around, we don’t care for the poor, or defer to the meek, or avoid judging people – it’s not like we’re that committed to Christianity. Seriously, is the Koran that different from the New Testament? Sex is bad, women are inferior, and when in doubt, blame the Jews.

…We’re a nation in thrall to religious fanatics anyway; does it really matter which religion we’re in thrall to? Koran, Bible — what’s the diff? They’re both full of moral pieties and codes of conduct nobody follows anyway, so let’s pick the one that lets us take hair gel on the plane!

Of course he is “trying” to be funny (he has never been) but the message is all the same. Why be inconvienced? It’s really all our fault anyways.
