So Clinton used it 105 times, Bush Sr. used it 146, Reagan used it 71, and Bush Jr. has used it 110 times.

Let’s convert these into yearly numbers to get a real view of how often is used:

Among other things Bush is claiming he is not bound by the anti-torture law… nor does he need to inform Congress of his activities if he (and he alone) deems it in the best interests of National Security (etc.).

Have you ever heard of checks and balances? Do we not elect representitives to look out for our interests?

So I went looking for examples of Clinton signing statements.
