Curt Weldon just stated in his opening remarks that Shaffer was approached yesterday by DIA officials asking what he was going to say. Apparently the attempts to keep him quiet about the Able Danger program are still ongoing.

The opening remarks were full of nice words about the hearings being non-partisan, but then each one of the Congressmen began to attack the Bush Administration. Typical.
