As in all things hindsight is 20/20...but our leaders in the Military have taken the mistakes and learned from them. We are definately winning this war, it's not even close. The war at home is a different matter and nothing disgusts me more then to watch these idiots play politics with this war against terror.

To be sure, it took us awhile to get on the right path. The initial invasion was brilliantly executed, but the insurgency took us by surprise. We should have held elections earlier (which is what the Pentagon wanted to do, but we let State run things), and we aborted our first attempt to retake Fallujah. But for the past year we've been on track. If we continue along our present path, we will win. Trends are on our side.
